"My experience has been that the amount of time that can be devoted to the management of one's investments is in inverse proportion to the size of those investments. This is very frustrating because the nearer one gets to "retirement" the more critical investment management becomes. It's amazing just how strongly it focuses the mind! This is why a wise, well-informed and pro-active investment adviser is just so critical. It's not an optional extra. It's absolutely essential if the second half of life is to be as financially secure and 'goal-fulfilling' as the first half.
The options available to investors seem to have grown almost exponentially over the last decade or so. Ten years ago I felt like I could be fairly well on top of things by devoting an hour or two a week to brushing up on the latest prospectus or reading a story or two in the weekend financial pages. Not any more!

- The 'boutique' nature of Pinnacle - the fact that it's not a bureaucracy. I don't have to fight my through lines of bloody 'customer service' flunkies to get Chris' attention
I would recommend Chris and the Pinnacle team to almost anyone - anyone that is, who is really serious about knocking their finances and future life planning into shape. But if you're only half-serious, don't bother. Their meticulous attention to detail and constant personal attention will drive you nuts!"

I found our meeting last week reassuring to understand the results now being achieved after 2 ordinary years, in particular the rate of return in comparison to the recognised benchmarks. I was looking for an organization to help me make smarter investments and to get the best out of my company and personal cash reserves. There are a lot of financial organizations that promote a limited range of high-commission products. I was wary of this but my fears were dismissed when I spoke to Merrick from Pinnacle who is clearly non biased, solutions oriented, intelligent and very well educated.
Pinnacle quickly sorted out my finances and chose a balanced portfolio in a fee and tax effective way. They also organized my super, my spouses super and a college fund for our 3 year old child. Pinnacle Wealth Management made two speculative stock investments both of which we sold at 45% profit and 50% profit in a two month time period.
As a result of my dealings with Pinnacle I have much more confidence in financial matters and find myself taking an active interest in the stock market. They explained everything clearly and helped prevent poor impulsive stock choices on my part. I have profited from the speculative stocks and the last six months of growth in Australian shares. Graeme and I have been clients of Pinnacle Wealth Management since inception and prior to that when Christopher and Merrick were part of the Deloitte’s team. We have always been treated as friends as well as clients, although we follow different football teams. Our financial worries have been removed by the advice and consistent follow up that we receive almost on a weekly basis. We feel that our needs and requests have always been met on a daily basis. We trust everything that Christopher advises us to do and to this date he has been 100% correct.
It doesn’t matter if you have a lot or a little to invest the care is the same.
We have an elderly family member in a nursing home and she is totally self funded and requires a large sum of money per month to keep her in such a good place, Chris has done wonders with her funds and has in fact grown them at approx 20% per annum in the 4 years he has been looking after them, therefore we know under his guidance that she will always have sufficient funds to meet her needs.
We get great service from Selena, she is always willing to attend to the stuff that makes it easy for us and not necessarily the tasks that come within her job description, nothing is too much trouble for her.
We have retired this year and have left all our superannuation details for Christopher to take care of and to implement what he thought was best for us and our ongoing needs. He still gives me plenty of spending money but sometimes I have to ask his permission to have a big shop, I think he was groomed by my husband to say no…but only sometimes. We feel very lucky to have found such a great organization ~ reliable, honest and most of all really caring about you the person. We don’t consider them our financial minders but our GUARDIAN ANGELS AND OUR GUARDING ANGELS.
We are forever grateful to all of them for putting us on the right path to a stress free financial life.
Graeme and I live in Queensland and would still prefer to deal with Pinnacle in ADELAIDE. They visit us annually or more if needed. They are truly the very best.
